Cannibalism is the act of one individual feeding on the flesh of another individual of its own species.
Cannibalism has been regarded as a serious abomination of nature in the Bible because the devouring of human flesh by another fellow human is a sin in the eyes of the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Lord. Here are a few Bible verses about cannibalism that will help you understand its concept better.
Bible verses about cannibalism
Jeremiah 19:9- I will force them to consume the flesh of their own sons and daughter. They will also feed on each other’s flesh because their foes with press the siege so hard against them that it will lead to their complete destruction.
Ezekiel 5:10- And then in the middle of everything, the parents will end up consuming the flesh of their own children. The children will, in turn, eat the flesh of their own parents. I will inflict you with punishment, and then I will scatter the flesh of all your survivors into the wind.
Deuteronomy 28:53-57- The woman who is the gentlest and the most sensitive among all of you; so sensitive that she would not go out to touch the ground with the sole of her feet, will begrudge her husband and her children whom she loves with all her heart will have the flesh. The love she has for her children is actually an illusion. When she is in great need, she will always long to eat the flesh of her children because of the suffering your enemy will impose upon you when they siege your cities.
Leviticus 26:29- You are bound to consume the flesh of your sons and also the flesh of your daughters.
Kings 6:28-29- Then he turned to her and asked her about what the matter was. She said that a woman told her to turn up her own son so that they could consume his flesh that day. The next day the two of us would feed on the woman’s son’s flesh. Hence, they cooked the flesh of her son that day and consumed him. The next, she told the woman to turn up her son as they were supposed to feed on his flesh that day. But the woman had already hidden her son by then.

Lamentations 4:10- With love, care, and compassion of their own hands, women have cooked the children they had given birth to. The children became their food when his people were destroyed.
Lamentations 2:20- My Lord, just look at me and consider this have you ever treated someone like this? Is it okay for women to consume the flesh of the children who were born of them, the children they once cared for? Is it okay when a priest or a prophet is murdered in the sanctuary of the Lord?
Timothy 5:3-16 – The widow who is truly helpless and has been abandoned by everyone else puts her faith in the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, and keeps on worshipping the holy Lord every dawn and every night, asking to shower his blessings upon him. But the widow who is alive for mere amusement and entertainment has already expired even when she is existing.
Provide the people with these commands so that no one may be subjected to condemnation. Any person who does not take care of his folks, and especially members of his own family, has rejected his belief in the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, and is eviler than a heathen.
Deuteronomy 28:53-57- Just because of the suffering your enemy will impose on you during the time of the siege, you will get to consume the fruit of the womb, the meat of the sons and the daughters the Lord has blessed you with. Even the gentlest and the kind-hearted man among you will have no respect for his own brother or the wife he loves so dearly or any of his children who are alive. He will not even offer to any of them the flesh of these children that he is consuming. It will be everything he has left because of the suffering your enemy will impose on you during the siege of your cities.
Genesis 1:26-27- It was that moment when God said that he would make mankind in their image, in His likeness, so that they can establish their rule over the fish swimming in the sea and the birds are flying in the sky and over the livestock and all the animals in the wilderness and over all the other creatures that move along the ground. Hence, God created mankind in his own image and in the image of God. He created them. He created the males and also the females.
Corinthians 5:8- I am assuring you of the fact that we are confident. I would prefer to stay away from the body at home and be with the Lord.
Luke 16:19-26- Once there was this rich man who was once dressed in fine quality purple linen. He used to live a very luxurious life every day. Once there was a beggar at his gate, lying on the floor with his body full of sores. His name was Lazarus. The beggar wanted to eat all that was falling from the rich man’s table. The dogs also came and licked his sores. Then the beggar gradually succumbed to injuries. The angels came down to him and carried him to Abraham’s side. After some time, the rich man also died and was buried.
When Hades was tormenting him, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He begged Abraham to send Lazarus to him so that he could dip the tip of his finger in water and cool the rich man’s tongue as he was in great pain in this fire. But Abraham objected to it and said to him that in his entire life, he had only received good things, but Lazarus was always on the receiving end of bad things. That is exactly how he was in pain while Lazarus was being comforted. Besides all these, a great chasm had been set between them and him so that people who want to go from here cannot go to you. No one can even come from him to them.
Timothy 5:3-16 – The name of no woman should be written down on the list of widows unless she is above sixty years of age, has been completely committed to her partner, and has earned a lot of respect because of her moral deeds and ethics, like nurturing and taking care of her children, displaying warmth and generosity, cleansing the feet of the people of the almighty Heavenly Father, offering help to the people who are suffering and surrendering herself to the service of people.
But the widows who are younger in age should not be taken into consideration for this list. This is because of the fact that when their sexual thirst prevails over their devotion towards the Son of God, Jesus Christ, they dream of engaging themselves in marriage again. Hence they subject themselves to punishment for they think they have failed to fulfill their first vow.
Apart from that, they also find themselves involved in the practice of being jobless and visiting one house after another. And not only do they turn sluggish, but they also become like scandalmongers who speak utter rubbish about things that make no sense and about things they should not be gossiping about.
Deuteronomy 28:53- You will be bound to eat the fruit of the womb, the fresh flesh of the children that the almighty Lord has given you as gifts because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on all of you during the siege.

Corinthians 14:34-35- It is said that women are always needed to keep quiet in the churches. They should always submit to others, as the law says. They are not allowed to speak a word. If they want to ask about something, they should do that in private in their homes and address their questions only to their husbands. It is utterly disrespectful for a woman to say something in the church.
John 1:1- At the start, there was the Word. The Word belonged to the Lord. The Word was the Lord himself.
Timothy 2:11-15 – A female should enhance her knowledge only in silence and complete acquiescence. I will never allow a woman to instruct or to seize control over a man; she must always keep her lips sealed. And this is because of the fact that Adam had been created before Eve. And Adam was not the one who was betrayed; it was Eve, the woman who was misguided and then committed a sin. But the nature of women can be redeemed only if they bear children in their womb – if they stick to their trust in the almighty Heavenly Father, affection, and sanctity with decorum.
Timothy 5:3-16 – Offer an adequate amount of acknowledgment to all the widows who are helpless and truly in requirement of security. But if anyone among them has grandchildren and children, before doing anything else, they should educate themselves about the ways in which they could carry out the duties listed in their religion and begin with they could take care of their own family members and therefore they are paying back to their guardians and grandparents, because the almighty Heavenly Father finds this very satisfactory.
