Aaron shall fetch the goat who is destined to be brought to the holy Lord, the almighty Heavenly Father, and give it up as an offering for all sins. But the goat selected by fate to be the scapegoat shall be put forward before the Supreme Being in its living state to make redemption by addressing it into the wilds as a scapegoat.

“They also cast lots, just as their relatives the descendants of Aaron did, in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelek, and the heads of families of the priests and of the Levites. The families of the oldest brother were treated the same as those of the youngest.”

And then they joined their hands before the almighty Heavenly Father in prayer and asked him to show them whom he had picked out among the two of those to take charge of that apostolic ministry which Judas had forsaken to make his way to where he belonged since He knew what resided in everyone’s soul. So they decided by casting lots, and luck was in favor of Matthias, and that is how he became a part of the apostles.
