43+ Bible Verses About Choices: Destiny in Our Hands 

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”

“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Set foot in through the narrow entrance. And that is because if the entrance is broad, the road to ruination is quite effortless, and the people who make their way inside are too many in number. On the contrary, if the entrance is narrow, the path that leads to life is full of hardships, and the number of people willing to go through this gate is very few.

“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

There is a road that appears to be very just to a person, but it ultimately leads to the final road to demise.

“Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors”

“If you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

And the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, will shower his blessings upon you, each time that you act in compliance with his voice, to carry out his commandments and the rules and regulations that are penned down in his Book of the Law, and each time that you look up to your Lord, your God, with all your soul and all your heart.

“Many are the plans in a human heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.”

Human beings plot and plan a lot of things in their head, but in the end, it is the will of the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, that will truly matter.

“In their hearts human beings plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.”

The heart of a human might come up with various aims and dreams, but at the end of the day, it is the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, who carries out all his ambition. The path that a man figures out in his mind is ultimately set up by the holy Lord.

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

And a voice will reach up to your ears from behind, and you will hear it say to you to keep moving forward because you are proceeding in the correct direction. And this voice will guide you through the right path, each and every time you turn to take a left, or you turn to take a right.

“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of every human being.”

“For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”

The conclusion of the subject; everything has been heard. You should be scared of the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, and therefore fulfill his commandments, for this is the only responsibility that man has been assigned. And this is because of the fact that the holy Lord will judge every action of man, along with all his confidential deeds, be it righteous or wicked.  

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”

And at the end of the day, my beloved companions, anything that is genuine, anything that is righteous, anything that is pure, anything that is fair, anything that is delightful, anything that is praiseworthy, if there truly exists minimum amount of merit in anything, or if there is anything truly deserving, the thought of these things should cross your mind. 

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. People reap what they sow.”

“Those who sow to please their sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; those who sow to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”

The almighty Heavenly Father is not laughed at because no matter what seeds a person plants, he will receive his fruits according to his harvest. And this is because of the fact that the person who plants seeds for himself only will gain nothing but deceit from his own flesh, but the person who invests in the name of the Holy Spirit will be blessed with eternal life by the heavenly Spirit himself. 

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

“In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Allow your soul to place all its faith in the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, and do not be overconfident about your knowledge and accomplishments. Express your gratitude to the holy Lord in everything you do; he will guide you through the right path of life. 

Beloved son of mine, you should never forget what you have learned from me and allow your heart to fulfill all my commandments, as, throughout the days and years of your lifespan and peace, they will benefit you in many ways. Do not allow devoted affection and loyalty to abandon your soul; tie these virtues around your neck; pen them down on the gravestone of your heart. And that is how you will come across approval and prosperity in the eyes of the almighty Heavenly Father and of man.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

And if being in the service of the holy Lord, the almighty Heavenly Father, is wrong in your sight, then you must make a choice right away regarding whom you wish to obey, whether it is the gods of Amorites on whose soil you reside, or it is your fathers, the gods, assisted in the territory beyond the River. However, according to my family members and me, we choose to be servants of the Lord, the Supreme Being of all the universe. 

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

And on this day, I summon the earth and the paradise to stand as an observer here, and see how I have placed in front of your life and death, grace and evil. Therefore they will testify against you as it is up to you what to choose. But if you seek my advice, I will tell you to choose life so that you and your descendants can live. 

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to us all. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

And you have not been outstripped by any such enticement that mankind is unfamiliar with. You can put your faith in the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, for he will not let you be coaxed by someone or something that is beyond your capacity, but he will provide you with a sufficient amount of temptation and along with it, he will also tell you about a path to get away, so that you can put it up with. 

“Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ in front of others, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.”

You should be cautious when carrying out your integrity and morality in front of other people to make yourself noticeable in their eyes. In that case, you will not receive blessings from the almighty Heavenly Father, who resides in the above paradise. 

“Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors”

“If you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

The good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, will bless you with abundance and affluence in all the jobs that you have taken up in your hands. He will furnish you with prosperity in the yield of your livestock and in the yield of your soil and in the yield of your womb. And this is because of the fact that the holy Lord, the Supreme Being of all the universe, will take pleasure in helping you to flourish one more time, as he had taken pleasure in your forefathers. 

“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”

If we own up to all our transgressions, the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, is loyal and fair enough to shower us with His forgiveness for our crimes and purify us of all our sins.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Suppose any man among you is devoid of wisdom. In that case, he should ask for it to the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, for he is very generous in his acts of contribution, and he gives without the slightest amount of criticism. A man will be furnished with anything that is righteous only if he asks the Holy Lord. 

And when that day arrives, you will no longer ask anything from me. And honestly, I will say this to you that, no matter what you demand from the almighty Heavenly Father, in my name, he will provide it to you. But till now, you have not requested anything in my name. Ask, and you will be furnished with that; consequently, your triumph will know no bounds. 

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

And in the first place, you should aim for the kingdom of God, the almighty Heavenly Father, and his integrity, and gradually all the other things will be provided to you. 

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

And on that account, death is the payment for all our transgressions. Still, the priceless boon that the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has handed over to mankind is eternal life in the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ. 

“He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.”

It would be wiser to be ill-treated by the men of the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, rather than relish the short-lived joys of wrongdoings. 

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And on that account, the holy Lord, the almighty Heavenly Father, proclaimed that he was quite aware of the plans that he had for us, he had set up strategies for the well-being of people and not for immorality, to provide us with a dream and a better life ahead. 

“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

And on that account, it is with the help of the soul that one learns to have faith and is vindicated, and it is with the help of the mouth that one please guilty and is rescued. 

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

And no matter what you do, be it through your actions or your words, carry out every task in the name of the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, and offer your sincere gratitude to the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, through your Lord, Christ. 

And on that account, if any person is one with the holy Son of God, Jesus Christ, he is a newborn creation. The aged and senile has made his exit; pay close attention, the newly born has arrived.
