Cleanliness is considered to be the conceptual condition of being clean as well as the practice of attaining and keeping up with that condition. There is a proverb that says, “cleanliness is next to godliness,” which means that if one keeps himself clean, he can achieve sanctity, and his soul is closer to the holy Lord. And on that account, the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has not summoned us for any kind of immorality, but he seeks sanctity from us.

And the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, told him that the one who has taken a bath does not need to cleanse himself anymore, except for his feet, but he should also be pure in his soul. And Christ told him that he is sacred but not everyone amongst them.
