“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong.”

Thoroughly cleanse yourselves, make yourselves completely pure; Peel off the wickedness from all the things that you carry out, in front of my eyes; quit performing all sorts of immoral acts.

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

However, the person who has a habit of eating should not loathe the person who practices abstinence, and the one who practices abstinence should not look down upon the one who loves to eat, because the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has gladly embraced everyone. 

“Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”

And on that account, apply hyssop to cleanse me, and I shall be purified; wash me, and you will observe that I look whiter than snowflakes. 

Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.”

And as we have pledged these vows to one another, darling, we should be allowed to free ourselves from each and every darkness and sacrilege of the soul and mind, causing sanctity to be attained in fear of the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe. 

“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”

If we can own up about all the wrongdoings that we have carried out, the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, is loyal and fair enough to pardon us of transgressions and to purify us from all sorts of evil and immorality. 

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

And on that account, all those who are innocent at heart, are the ones that are truly blessed, and this is because of the fact that they shall be able to witness the holy Lord, the almighty Heavenly Father, who is the Supreme Being of all the universe. 

“Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself.”

There will be a site outside the tent, and you shall make your way towards it. And you shall be in possession of a trowel along with the other tools that you carry, and at the time that you are seated on the ground outside, you shall excavate a pit with the help of your trowel and turn around and sweep your sins under the carpet. 

“He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe.”

However, if we stretch our legs in the brightness of the day, just like the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father is in the light, we foster a companionship amongst each other, and the blood of the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, purifies us from all the wrong deeds we have carried out. 

“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.”

And I will shower holy water upon you, and you shall be purified of all your sins and immorality, and I will purge you from all your icons. 

“Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.”

You Pharisee, you are as blind as a bat. For you should wash the interiors of the cup and the dish in the first place so that the outer parts of it are also pristine. 

“Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.”

You are not supposed to inflict any incision upon your body or tattoo yourselves for the ones that have perished: I am the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe. 

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”

At last, my beloved companions, if there exists anything that is genuine, anything that is righteous, anything that is fair, anything that is sacred, anything that is sublime, anything that is remarkable, if there exists merit in anything or if there exists anything that deserves admiration, always have these things in your mind. 

“So then, if you know the good you ought to do and don’t do it, you sin.”

And all the people who are aware of what is right and what is wrong, and in spite of their knowledge of the virtues, the people who choose to walk on the evil path, for them it is a severe offense. 

“Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.”

You should not form a judgment by taking outward appearance into consideration, but you should draw conclusions about anyone or anything with wisdom and justice, on the basis of moral grounds. 

“Those who regard one day as special do so to the Lord. Those who eat meat do so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and those who abstain do so to the Lord and give thanks to God.”

“For we do not live to ourselves alone and we do not die to ourselves alone.”

“If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”

“For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.”

Who do you think yourself to be to deliver an opinion on a person who works for someone else? It is only in front of his own Lord that he is on his feet or drops down to the ground. And he will be provided with support as the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, possesses the power to make him rise to his feet. 

“But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.”

And on that account, all deeds and tasks should be carried out with decency and in an organized manner. 

“The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus.”

“And saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed.”

“The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders.”

“When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.”

So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”

He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”

“They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.”

“You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”

And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!”

“For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.”

“But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban.”

And they observed that some of his followers consumed their meal with hands that were impure or unclean. And this is because of the fact that all the Pharisees and the Jews do not consume food, unless they clean their hands, retaining the customs of the elderly people, who do not take a single bite of their bread unless they cleanse their hands of all impurities when they return from the marketplace. And there are a number of other such customs that they follow, for example, the cleansing of cups and vessels and copper pots and dining couches. 

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

And when you become aware of the true facts, the truth will guide your path towards freedom. 

Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”?

Is there any man existing on this earth who can claim that he has cleansed his soul and mind, and he is purified of all his transgressions. 

“I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.”

I am aware of the fact and one with the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, on the opinion that there does not happen to exist a single thing that is impure on its own, but it is only defiled for the ones who consider it to be defiled. 

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”

And the people who show forgiveness to others are the ones that are truly blessed, and this is because of the fact that the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, shall shower his mercy upon them in return. 

“Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”

It was rewarded to her that she could drape herself with linen of excellent quality, radiant and natural – as the exquisite quality linen is symbolic of the noble and virtuous deeds of the saint. 

It is written: “As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, “every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.”

“So then, we will all give an account of ourselves to God.”

“Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.”

And for the man who is delicate and fragile in his beliefs, you should treat him with acceptance but not raise a conflict with him over the different point of view. One person thinks that he can consume everything, whereas the fragile person lives solely on vegetables. 

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

And in all the ways that you desire to be treated by others, you should also treat others in the same manner, as this is what has been penned down by the Law and the Prophets. 

“A psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.”

A hymn of Asaph states that with complete honesty, the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, is good to the Israelites, to the people who possess purity in their souls. 

“Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.”

No man is supposed to sleep with a man as he would with a woman; it is considered to be a disgrace. 

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

And on that account, one’s attraction and affection towards the worldly riches is the origin of all sorts of wickedness. It is due to such kind of longing for money and wealth that some have lost their way from faith and inflicted agony upon themselves. 

“Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics.”

And at that moment, it was finally time for each young woman to make their way to King Ahasuerus, after staying under the modulation for females for twelve months, as that was the normal time needed for their beautification, six months with various ingredients and six months with oil of myrrh and salve for females. 

“Then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother.”

“Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

“Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.”

“Nothing outside you can defile you by going into you. Rather, it is what comes out of you that defiles you.”

“If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening [and let him perceive and comprehend by hearing.”

And the Pharisees and the clerks questioned him why he didn’t his followers act in accordance with the customs of the elders but chose to devour their food with unclean hands. And as a response, he asked them, in return, if Isaiah had made many predictions about them as it had been penned down that there are people who glorify and praise him with their words, but in reality, their hearts are very distant from him. 

“Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil.”

“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

“Because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.”

“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”

“Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.”

“It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.”

“So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed are those who do not condemn themselves by what they approve.”

“But those who have doubts are condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.”

Many people consider one day to be better than the other days, whereas, on the contrary, some people consider every day to be the same. Each and every person should be completely determined about their beliefs in their mind.

“As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement.”

“For the LORD your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you. Your camp must be holy, so that he will not see among you anything indecent and turn away from you.”

And the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father of all the universe, take a step in the middle of your camp, to rescue you and to drop off your rivals in front of your eyes, and hence your camp must be sacred so that he is not able to witness anything dishonorable amidst you and turn his back on you.

“For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.”

And on that account, the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has not summoned us for any kind of immorality, but he seeks sanctity from us. 

“Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

And on that account, you should be flawless, since your good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, is flawless himself. 

“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

If you bring yourself close to the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father who is the Supreme Being of all the universe, he will also bring himself closer to you. All the men who have sinned should wash their hands, and all the people who are deceitful should cleanse their souls. 

Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

And the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, told him that the one who has taken a bath does not need to cleanse himself anymore, except for his feet, but he should also be pure in his soul. And Christ told him that he is sacred but not everyone amongst them.
