Edom was a very old province in Transjordan, situated in the middle of Moab on the north-western side, the Arabah on the west, and the Arabian Desert on the south-eastern side.
References to Edom can be found in written records belonging to the late Chalcolithic period and to the Iron Age in the Levant. Few Bible verses about Edom to understand it better.
What does the Bible say about Edom?
Romans 9:1
“I speak the truth in Christ – I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 9:2
“I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.”
Romans 9:3
“For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my own race.”
Romans 9:4
“The people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.”
Romans 9:5
“Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.”
And on that account, all the things that I am saying are true in the name of the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ – I am not making up anything; my sense of right and wrong provides me with the evidence in the Divine Spirit – that I hold immense sadness and never-ending agony in my soul.
For I could be desiring that I myself were under some curse and I could detach myself from Lord Jesus, in order to please my brothers, my family members who share a blood relation with me.
Isaiah 1:1
“The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.”
Isaiah 1:2
“Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth! For the LORD has spoken: “I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.”
Isaiah 1:3
“The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”
Isaiah 1:4
“Ah, sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.”
Isaiah 1:5
“Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion? Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.”
Isaiah 1:6
“From the sole of your foot to the top of your head there is no soundness – only wounds and welts and open sores, not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.”
Isaiah 1:7
“Your country is desolate, your cities burned with fire; your fields are being stripped by foreigners right before you, laid waste as when overthrown by strangers.”
Isaiah 1:8
“Daughter Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a city under siege.”
Isaiah 1:9
“Unless the LORD Almighty had left us some survivors, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.”
Isaiah 1:10
“Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah!”
What a corrupted state it is where all the people are filled with wickedness, descendants of miscreants, children who indulge themselves in immorality and malice.
They have no regard for the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe; they have looked down on the Divine One of Israel, and they have completely distanced themselves. Why will you be incapacitated by someone? Why will you carry on with your defiance? The mind is completely sick, and the heart is completely weak.
Deuteronomy 28:1
“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.”

“The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock – the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.”
Deuteronomy 28:5
“Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.”
And on that account, if you maintain loyalty when you act in compliance with the teachings of the good God, the almighty Heavenly Father, and if you are cautious when you carry out all his commandments that I order to do you on this day, the holy Lord, the Supreme Being of all the universe, will raise you to an immense height, on top of all the states of the earth.
Acts 10:34
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism.”
Acts 10:35
“But accepts those from every nation who fear him and do what is right.”
And on that account, Peter, without any hesitation, said that he is honestly aware of the fact that the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, is not unfair to anyone at all, however in all the provinces, any man who is scared of him and any man who carries out the tasks that are virtuous and morally justified, is someone who is pleasing in the eyes of the holy Lord.
Psalm 83:6
“The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites.”
And therefore, those were the camps of the Hagrites and Moab, the Ishmaelite and Edom.
Daniel 12:1
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people – everyone whose name is found written in the book – will be delivered.”
And at that hour, Michael shall wake up, he who is the noble prince, being responsible for the well-being of your men. And then a cloud of distress and tribulation shall hover in the skies of all, such as had never been witnessed by anyone since there was a province until that hour.
But even during then, your men shall be rescued, and one can find all their names as they shall be penned down in the book.

In those days she will be betrayed, together with her royal escort and her father and the one who supported her.”
Daniel 11:7
“One from her family line will arise to take her place. He will attack the forces of the king of the North and enter his fortress; he will fight against them and be victorious.”

“He will also seize their gods, their metal images and their valuable articles of silver and gold and carry them off to Egypt. For some years he will leave the king of the North alone.”

And in my defense, during the earliest year of Darius, the Mede, I rose to my feet to give him assurance and strength. And at this moment, I will bring the truth out in the open.

“This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.”
And on that account, this is going to be the sickness that the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, will inflict upon all the men who engage in a battle against Jerusalem; their bones and muscles will begin to decay whilst they are still upright on their feet, their eyes will decompose in the sockets, and their tongue will become rotten inside their mouth.
Revelation 20:10
“And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
And therefore, the demon who had entrapped and fooled them was tossed into the pool of sulfur and smoke, where the creature and the fake fortune teller were present, and they would be subjected to purgatory and affliction, night and day, till hell froze over.

And however, he agrees to all that he did in Egypt, to Pharaoh, the monarch of Egypt, and to all his property, all that he carried out on the military forces of Egypt, to their horse-carriages and to their horses, the way in which he caused the waters of the Red Sea to glide over them as they were running after you, and the manner in which the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has brought ruination upon them till this date.

“But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.”
I laid my eyes upon the monster and the rulers of the earth with their military forces assembled together to start a battle against the man seated on his horse and his soldiers.
And the creature was held captive, and along with it was the fake fortune teller, who in the attendance of the creature, had carried out the signals by which he had defrauded and fooled the ones who had been presented with the token of the creature, and the ones who bowed in reverence before the monster. And both of them were tossed into the pool of fire that burnt with sulfur while they were still breathing.

And on that account, they happen to be the citizens of Israel, and they are in possession of the adoption, the honor and praise, the contracts, the formation of the rules and regulations, the religious rites, and the pledges.
And the patriarchs are under their ownership, and from their tribe, in accordance with the blood relation, is the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Supreme Being of all the universe, showering his blessings upon us till hell freezes over.

And on that account, listen carefully, O heavens, and pay close attention, O earth; for the almighty Heavenly Father, the Supreme Being of all the universe, has said that the children he had nurtured, looked after, and raised, are now rebelling against him.
He added that the bullock is aware of its keeper, and the donkey is aware of its master’s residence, but the people of Israel are not familiar with him; they have no knowledge of the holy Lord.
